MCA-88 Recall Request
In cooperation with the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), Russound has implemented a voluntary recall of certain MCA-88 8-Source/8-Zone Controller Amplifiers.
Any MCA-88 with a lot code between 2047 and 2307 is subject to this recall. The lot code is found in the first four digits of the MCA-88’s serial number. Therefore, any MCA-88 with a serial number that starts with a number between 2047 and 2307 is subject to recall.
The serial number can be easily found under the translucent removable front cover next to the infrared sensor.
What to do if you have a recalled MCA-88?
- Turn off the MCA-88 by pressing the front panel power button and if accessible, remove the power cord from either the rear of the MCA-88 or by unplugging it from the wall-outlet.
- Fill out the contact information below so that we can contact you about the process to replace your recalled MCA-88 with an updated model that is not subject to the recall.
