Product Discontinuation Notice – CA4 System

We are discontinuing the sales of the CA4 Multi-zone Controller and, subsequently, the CA4-KT1 Multi-room Controller System Kit. This discontinuation will also include the international models, the CA4-EU/UK and CA4-KT1-EU/UK, as well as the CA4-KP Keypad and CA4-WP Wall Port.

We are discontinuing the sales of the CA4 Multi-zone Controller and, subsequently, the CA4-KT1 Multi-room Controller System Kit. This discontinuation will also include the international models, the CA4-EU/UK and CA4-KT1-EU/UK, as well as the CA4-KP Keypad and CA4-WP Wall Port.

Launched in 2008 and installed in thousands of homes and businesses, the CA4 formed the backbone of simple, easy-to-install multiroom audio solutions.

There is no direct replacement for the CA4, but our new VOICE-TCH-AMP will be an excellent choice that offers ease of installation, simple configuration, and offers the best of streaming audio, Bluetooth, and voice control in an easily scalable system.

For customers who want to use and share physical sources and have more advanced control options, the MCA-Series, starting with the MCA-66, offers a feature-rich alternative while keeping the possibility of in-room keypads and touchscreen/app-control options.

In between those two options, Russound’s A-BUS system and our CAA66 controller are other alternatives that can be considered depending on the installation needs. Feel free to reach out to us or to your Russound distributor if you have any questions or need further information on any of these other product solutions. Using CA4 System (old) vs VOICE-TCH-AMP (new)

If you were previously using a CA4 System, here are some examples of how you can use a VOICE-TCH-AMP or MCA-Series Controller Amplifier in its place. There are plenty of other applications and features included with these newer models as well.
