Russound, an industry-leading brand dedicated to providing high quality audio products for homes and businesses, with a focus on sonic fidelity, reliability, and ease of use is seeking a Director of Marketing with experience in consumer electronics to take Russound’s brand and product marketing to the next level and be the best in the industry. To do that, the ideal candidate will be goal-driven change-maker, a self-starter, and a fierce defender of the brand. With a deep understanding of the nature of B2B commerce as well as the needs and wants of the end user, our new Director of Marketing will lead the efforts to showcase our products and our brand to our customers both old and new.

Description of the position:

As the Director of Marketing, your role will be pivotal to lead our marketing efforts across our sales channels with responsibility for all segments from brand marketing and sales materials to product packaging and digital content. While working hands-on as part of our lean organization, you’ll be working closely with experienced cross-functional teams from all departments to develop and execute go-to-market plans and to create the dynamic and engaging content that will enable our sales partners to grow our customers’ business while launching exciting new products.

 

What we are counting on you to do: 

  • Lead the effort in crafting compelling product marketing and sales materials to best promote our products to our customers
  • Design and coordinate engaging promotional campaigns, PR, event, trade show, and other marketing efforts to drive brand and product awareness
  • Oversee overall marketing strategy and planning as you drive Russound’s marketing activities to become the industry’s leader
  • Captain the Russound website and optimize SEO and customer engagement
  • Be the brand champion driving the consistent use of our brand standards
  • Have a thirst for knowledge and keep up-to-date with market developments and competitor strategies to continuously refine marketing strategies and stay ahead of industry trends
  • Generate innovative ideas to promote the brand and products to drive brand awareness throughout the industry.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for impactful, on-time product launches
  • Drive the marketing team and external marketing partners to excel while still meeting promised timelines and commitments
  • Bring your excitement and creativity to propel our brand and our products to the forefront in a busy marketplace

 

If you have these skills and background, let's talk: 

  • At least 10 years of experience in consumer electronics product marketing
  • A deep working experience and skillset with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, especially with photo editing, graphics, layout and design.
  • Hands-on experience with web design and website management using CMS systems (Joomla or Wordpress)
  • Proven experience in creating and executing brand and product marketing strategies
  • Exceptional written and presentation skills in order to pitch concepts and strategies effectively
  • A contagious passion for marketing
  • The creativity and problem-solving skills needed to be able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines without missing the details and still having fun at what you do
