The P75 is a 2-channel dual source power amplifier with autosource switching. It features two audio line inputs with a loop out to another zone, receiver, or device from Line 2 source. This amplifier can be used for power upgrades in specific zones, for speaker selector or volume control systems.
Using the P75 with a Single Audio Source:
The P75 is a versatile 2-source amplifier with automatic switching. Assuring that all connections are made properly is critical to that functionality. When using a single audio source however, we frequently get asked about how to make the connection on the rear of the P75.
Over the lifetime of the P75, there have been several different labeling variations used on our P75 to explain the connections, but the main audio source input, also known as the “Default” always uses the same physical location on the rear of the P75 as shown below.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- If you’re hearing dropouts happening during music playback, make sure that your default audio device is connected to the input shown above.
- If you are using two audio sources on the P75, make sure the default source, the one that you want to listen to most frequently, is connected to the “Default In” connection as shown above. The second source that you want to have automatically become the P75’s active source should be connected to the other input, the one on the left in the illustrations above.
